Ryanair opens 29 summer 2027 routes: four serve Leeds Bradford, not all 29
Bookings have opened for the first batch of new routes. Leeds Bradford gains Budapest, Tirana, Corfu and Bari; the full seasonal network is still being announced.

Ryanair has put its first 29 new summer 2027 routes on sale, with four of the additions linking Leeds Bradford to Budapest, Tirana, Corfu and Bari. The October 9 announcement opens an early booking window; it does not mean those flights have started, that every summer route has been announced or that an early purchase is guaranteed to be the cheapest available fare.
Four local additions within a 29-route batch
Ryanair’s official announcement describes the first batch of new routes for summer 2027. Travel Weekly’s October 9 report identifies the four Leeds Bradford links, and Europa Press independently lists the same airport pairs. The 29 figure belongs to the network-wide batch, rather than to one airport’s new departure board.
Read each pair as a connection between two airports, not as two separate new routes because passengers can travel in both directions. The four additions also do not describe Leeds Bradford’s entire summer network. Existing routes and services by other airlines belong to a different total.
On sale now is different from operating now
The airline says the new services can already be booked through its website and app. These are summer 2027 services: the current development is the opening of sales, not a report that the inaugural flights have taken off. The announcement also says more new routes will follow as the full schedule is developed.
For a specific trip, check the dated flights shown in the booking system rather than assume a route will run every day throughout summer. The reviewed announcement does not give a universal start date or frequency for all four Leeds Bradford links. This article therefore does not fill in those details from a generic seasonal label.
The early-fare claim is marketing, not a price guarantee
Ryanair encourages customers to book early and says fares will rise as demand builds. That is the airline’s sales message. The sources reviewed here do not establish that every traveler’s lowest possible fare is available today, and they do not provide a fixed comparable fare for the four Leeds Bradford routes.
Before committing, compare the actual itinerary, dates and checkout total for the trip you need. The useful choice is a flight that fits those requirements, rather than the largest route count in a headline. Treat further route announcements as new information to check; they are not evidence that an unannounced connection is already available.
