Stafford breaks Rams touchdown record as Los Angeles beats Raiders 35–21

Three first-half touchdown passes and a 192-yard rushing tandem built a 28–6 halftime cushion, while Las Vegas’ fourth-quarter push arrived too late.

The Los Angeles Rams snapped a two-game losing streak with a 35–21 road win over the Las Vegas Raiders on October 25, turning four consecutive touchdown drives into a lead the hosts could not erase.

Matthew Stafford’s three touchdown passes also moved him past Roman Gabriel for the franchise career record. The milestone mattered, but the larger explanation was balance: Los Angeles paired efficient passing with 192 rushing yards from Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.

Four touchdown drives created the gap

After an opening three-and-out, Los Angeles scored touchdowns on four straight possessions. Stafford found Davis Allen twice and Puka Nacua once before Williams added a 17-yard run, producing a 28–6 halftime lead.

Stafford’s record came through efficiency

Stafford completed 23 of 29 passes for 195 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. His third touchdown gave him 155 career scoring passes for the Rams, one more than Roman Gabriel.

The run game closed the escape route

Williams ran 16 times for 99 yards and Corum added 93 yards on 17 carries. When Las Vegas pulled within 28–18, the Rams answered with a 70-yard drive that consumed 6:38 and ended on Corum’s four-yard touchdown.

Las Vegas’ rally came too late

Kirk Cousins threw fourth-quarter touchdowns to Tre Tucker and Ashton Jeanty, but the Raiders had already surrendered too much field position and time. Their rushing attack produced only 48 yards on 17 carries.

What the result changes

Both teams left Week 7 at 3–4, but their direction diverged: Los Angeles ended a two-game skid while Las Vegas lost a fourth straight. The Rams’ next test is whether the balanced formula can travel beyond one afternoon.
