Love accounts for two touchdowns as Packers beat Cowboys 23–13
Green Bay converted two first-half interceptions into a 17–0 halftime lead, limited Dallas to 48 rushing yards and closed out its third straight victory.

Jordan Love threw one touchdown pass and ran for another as the Green Bay Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys 23–13 on October 18. Green Bay led 17–0 at halftime after intercepting Dak Prescott twice and improved to 4–2 with its third straight victory.
Love completed 23 of 41 passes for 276 yards, with Matthew Golden catching six passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Dallas was held to 48 rushing yards, while Prescott finished 34 of 54 for 258 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Two interceptions created a 17–0 halftime lead
Green Bay stopped Dallas twice in the first half with interceptions and turned control of the ball into a three-score margin. The Packers reached halftime ahead 17–0, forcing the Cowboys to chase the game after the break.
The advantage mattered because Green Bay did not dominate on the ground. The Packers finished with 57 rushing yards, so the defense and Love’s passing production carried most of the result.
Love and Golden supplied the central offensive connection
Love completed 23 of 41 passes for 276 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also ran for a score, accounting for both Green Bay touchdowns.
Golden was Love’s leading target with six receptions for 104 yards and the receiving touchdown. Green Bay converted 11 of 18 third downs, sustaining enough drives to protect the early lead.
Dallas found a late touchdown but not a comeback
Prescott completed 34 of 54 passes for 258 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Dallas scored late, then failed on the two-point attempt that could have cut the margin further.
The Cowboys’ rushing game produced only 48 yards. That imbalance left Dallas dependent on a high-volume passing attack against a defense already playing with a multi-score cushion.
What the 23–13 result established
Green Bay improved to 4–2 and won its third consecutive game. Dallas fell to 2–4. The Packers are 8–1–1 in their last 10 meetings with the Cowboys.
Those are completed-game facts, not a season forecast. The winning streak and favorable recent series record do not guarantee a final standings position or playoff qualification.
