LTTS revenue rises 12% as AI-linked deals support a stronger second-half outlook
Quarterly revenue reached ₹30.4 billion and continuing-operations profit rose nearly 20%; management said a $200 million-plus large-deal haul should begin converting faster in the second half.

L&T Technology Services reported higher quarterly revenue and continuing-operations profit on October 19, while pointing to a stronger second half as recently won engineering-services deals begin to ramp.
The useful distinction is between the underlying quarter and the headline profit: total net income included a one-time ₹1.65 billion gain from selling the Smart World & Communication business, while Reuters separately reported ₹3.80 billion of profit from continuing operations.
Revenue rose, while the headline profit included a one-time gain
LTTS reported quarterly revenue of ₹30.404 billion, up 3.4% from the previous quarter and 12.1% from a year earlier. The company reported total net income of ₹5.482 billion, but that figure includes a ₹1.650 billion one-time gain from the sale of its Smart World & Communication business. Reuters calculated profit from continuing operations at ₹3.80 billion, up 19.6% year over year.
Sustainability led growth and mobility remained solid
Reuters reported that LTTS’s sustainability segment grew 22.9% from a year earlier and mobility grew 13.5%, while technology was broadly flat. North America, which Reuters said contributed 60.7% of revenue, grew 4.4% year over year. The mix shows why management emphasized a stronger pipeline rather than uniform growth across every business.
Large deals topped $200 million in total contract value
LTTS said its large-deal wins carried more than $200 million in total contract value and that more than half of that amount was related to artificial intelligence. Total contract value is not the same as recognized quarterly revenue: it represents contracted work that is expected to convert over time, subject to delivery schedules and deal terms.
Management expects a stronger second half, not a guaranteed outcome
Chief executive Amit Chadha said backlog and pipeline indicators were improving and expected growth momentum to strengthen in the second half as recent deals ramp up. That is management guidance, not an audited future result. Execution, client budgets, currency movements and the timing of project starts can still alter the trajectory.
Margin and dividend provide two additional reference points
The company reported an EBIT margin of 16.3%, 60 basis points higher than the previous quarter, and declared an interim dividend of ₹20 per share with an October 27 record date. LTTS also repeated a five-year aspiration of 13%–15% revenue CAGR and a 16%–17% EBIT margin; those figures are long-term company targets rather than achieved results.
