Jaguars Rout Patriots 35-6 as Trevor Lawrence Throws Three Touchdown Passes
Jacksonville turned three New England turnovers into control of a 29-point win, while Trevor Lawrence moved into second place on the Jaguars’ career touchdown-pass list.

Jacksonville rebounded from its loss in Denver with a 35-6 home victory over New England. Trevor Lawrence completed 19 of 29 passes for 182 yards and three touchdowns as the Jaguars improved to 2-1.
The Jaguars forced three turnovers, kept the Patriots out of the end zone and scored twice in an 18-second third-quarter burst. New England fell to 1-2 after its widest loss of the young season.
An 18-second burst broke the game open
Parker Washington caught a 17-yard touchdown pass, and on New England’s next snap Jarrian Jones returned an interception 32 yards. Chris Rodriguez Jr. scored from five yards out on the following play, turning a 14-3 game into a 28-3 lead in 18 seconds.
Bhayshul Tuten added a fourth-quarter touchdown. The Patriots’ only points came on two Andres Borregales field goals, and New England never reached the end zone.
Lawrence spread the scoring across three receivers
Lawrence threw touchdown passes to Josh Cameron, Jakobi Meyers and Washington while completing 19 of 29 attempts. His 105 career touchdown passes moved him into second place in Jaguars history.
Jacksonville’s first touchdown finished a 15-play, 72-yard drive. The offense then capitalized quickly when the defense produced short fields, giving the Jaguars control without asking Lawrence to chase the game.
Three turnovers deepened New England’s difficult afternoon
Drake Maye completed 14 of 25 passes for 199 yards, threw two interceptions and lost a fumble. Travis Hunter recorded his first career interception, while Jones’ return created the decisive third-quarter sequence.
Jacksonville improved to 2-1 and extended its regular-season home winning streak to six games. New England fell to 1-2 after a performance in which its defense allowed five touchdowns and its offense failed to score one.
