Gran Turismo 7 update 1.72, branded Spec IV Part 1, went live October 15 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It is a free update with six cars, Sportsland SUGO, new ways to inspect and order vehicles, a higher Collector Level cap and six World Circuits events. Returning players should note that Car Concierge requires completion of the game ending and the new Extra Menus sit behind levels 75, 80 and 90.

Six cars span Used Cars and Brand Central

The added vehicles are the 1986 Citroën 2 CV 6 Charleston, 1994 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, 1987 Honda Civic Si Group A version, 2023 Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line, 2026 Mazda RX-VISION GT3 EVO and Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo. Their showroom locations differ, so do not assume all six appear in one dealership. The update also adds a Vintage section for cars from 2000 or earlier, making older stock easier to browse.

Sportsland SUGO makes its Gran Turismo series debut

The new Japanese circuit is 3,586 metres long, has 13 corners, 69.83 metres of elevation change and a 704.5-metre main straight. Polyphony highlights the steep final climb, which reaches a 10 percent grade. Three of the six new World Circuits events use SUGO, so the course is immediately part of the single-player event rotation rather than a track added without races.

Car Concierge is useful, but it is not instant free access

Car Concierge lets eligible players specify a model, body colour and condition, then place orders for vehicles. Access requires reaching the game ending. The number of simultaneous orders depends on Collector Level and tops out at four, so the tool is a managed purchase path rather than a shortcut that grants any car immediately. Check the offer and price before confirming an order, and keep ordinary dealership rotations in mind.

Collector Level rises to 90 and new menus are gated

The Collector Level cap increases from 70 to 90. Three Extra Menus unlock at levels 75, 80 and 90, so players below those thresholds will not see every menu on day one. The separate Experience feature adds manufacturer-focused pages for Xiaomi, Yangwang, Hyundai and Polestar, while Car Viewer provides a dedicated space for examining owned cars. These additions expand browsing and progression; they do not reset existing collections.

What is in Part 1, and what still waits for Part 2

Part 1 also adds two Scapes locations—Angeles Crest Highway and Sportsland SUGO—and six World Circuits events. Polyphony says Spec IV Part 2 is planned for December, but the Part 1 release note does not announce an exact Part 2 date. Treat December content as forthcoming, not already installed. For this update, start by checking dealership locations, trying the three SUGO events, confirming Car Concierge eligibility and noting the level requirements before planning a collection route.
