EssilorLuxottica discloses €486m wearables revenue as Q3 sales rise 7.2%
The Ray-Ban maker gave an exact wearables figure for the first time, showing the category at about 6.5% of quarterly group revenue as growth moderated.

EssilorLuxottica reported third-quarter revenue of €7.486 billion, up 7.2% at constant exchange rates, and disclosed €486 million of wearables revenue for the first time.
Wearables grew 20% on the company’s constant-currency basis, while traditional eyecare and medtech activities grew more than 6% and the myopia-management portfolio advanced 24%.
Wearables revenue was disclosed at €486 million
EssilorLuxottica reported €486 million of third-quarter wearables revenue, including AI glasses and Nuance Audio. Reuters calculated that as roughly 6.5% of the group’s €7.486 billion quarterly revenue. The company said wearables revenue grew 20% at constant exchange rates.
Group sales rose even as smart-glasses growth slowed
Total revenue increased 7.2% at constant exchange rates and 9.0% at current rates. Reuters noted that smart-glasses growth slowed from nearly 100% in the second quarter to 20% for wearables in the third quarter, partly because the comparison base became tougher.
Traditional eyecare remained the larger growth engine
The company said its traditional Eyecare and Medtech activities grew more than 6% in both the quarter and the first nine months. Its myopia-management portfolio grew 24%, while Asia-Pacific and EMEA direct-to-consumer revenue rose at double-digit rates.
The new disclosure changes how the quarter can be read
The first exact wearables revenue figure lets readers separate a fast-growing category from the much larger group. It does not provide standalone profit for wearables, and the company did not split AI-glasses revenue from the smaller Nuance Audio contribution.
