easyJet plans Starlink Wi-Fi from 2027; price and flight availability remain open
Installation is due to start in the first half of 2027 and finish by early 2028. The announcement does not establish free access or internet on a particular booked flight.

easyJet announced plans on October 26 to introduce Starlink satellite internet on its Airbus A320, A320neo and A321neo aircraft. Deployment is planned to begin in the first half of 2027, with completion expected by early 2028.
For passengers, three questions remain separate: when an aircraft is equipped, whether their flight has the service, and what access costs. A fleet agreement does not settle all three.
The dates describe a rollout, not an immediate launch
The first-half 2027 start and early-2028 completion are the airline’s planned installation window. They do not mean every easyJet departure gains internet on the first day of 2027.
The release names A320, A320neo and A321neo aircraft. It does not name the A319 or publish a route-by-route activation list. Do not extend the stated aircraft scope to an unlisted type.
Free access has not been announced
AeroTime notes that easyJet did not say the service would be free. Reuters reports that the deal terms were not disclosed. Neither point establishes a passenger price or an inclusion in a particular fare.
Until easyJet publishes access terms, treat a claim of complimentary Wi-Fi as unconfirmed. Pricing offered by another Starlink airline would not establish this airline’s policy.
Streaming is planned; menu ordering is a possibility
The airline says passengers will be able to stream, play games and browse on their own devices. It also describes access to flight status and destination information. These are announced service capabilities, not results of our onboard testing.
Ordering food or drinks from a seat is described as a potential use of the connection. The release does not give that feature a separate launch date. Faster internet and a functioning ordering system require different confirmation.
Check the actual flight before depending on it
AeroTime recalls that chief executive Kenton Jarvis raised cost concerns in January. The new agreement changes the deployment plan, but the undisclosed terms do not reveal the economics behind that change.
Closer to departure, look for easyJet’s confirmation of connectivity on the flight and the applicable access conditions. Keep essential travel documents and any must-have entertainment available offline while availability remains unconfirmed. We have not tested connection speeds or continuity.
