Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launched on October 15, 2026. Konami lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam and Nintendo Switch, while Nintendo says the Switch release is supported on Switch 2 with behavior consistent with Switch.

Where the game is available

Konami’s launch-day notice lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam and Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation and Nintendo storefronts both show an October 15 release, and the independent TechRadar review identifies PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC availability. On Nintendo hardware, the store page is specifically for the Switch version and separately says Switch 2 behavior is supported and consistent with Switch; it does not describe a distinct Switch 2 edition.

Standard or Midnight Edition on PS5

The U.S. PlayStation Store lists the Standard Edition at $29.99 and the Midnight Edition at $39.99. Midnight adds a Digital Sound & Art Gallery, Trevor and Sypha style costumes, and the Family’s Grace relic. Those are bonus items; the Standard listing contains the full game. Prices and bundles can vary by platform and region, so compare the listing tied to the account that will make the purchase.

Try the PS5 demo before buying

PlayStation lists a free Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse demo alongside the paid editions. Use it to check the combat pace, controls and display on the console you intend to use. The store page does not state on the cited listing that demo progress transfers to the full game, so do not assume a save transfer unless the demo itself or Konami confirms it for your region.

Switch and Switch 2 checks

Nintendo lists a 3.5 GB file size for both Switch and Switch 2 compatibility, TV/tabletop/handheld modes, one player on a single system and Save Data Cloud support. The compatibility note says behavior on Switch 2 is consistent with Switch. That is useful for buyers who only need compatibility, but it is not a promise of a separate Switch 2 build or enhanced graphics. Nintendo also warns that Switch Lite play can differ and may require accessories.

Language, accessibility and online limits

The PS5 listing provides English and Japanese voices plus screen text in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. It lists ten accessibility features, including volume controls, basic subtitles, alternate control layouts, the ability to play without motion, touch, vibration or adaptive-trigger effects, control and tutorial reminders, and pausing. The game is offline and single-player. PS5/PS Portal cloud streaming requires a Premium subscription; that subscription note should not be confused with online multiplayer.
