Bills survive Raiders' late rally, win 33–30 behind Allen and Cook
Josh Allen threw two touchdown passes, James Cook scored the go-ahead touchdown and Buffalo recovered an onside kick after Las Vegas pulled within three points.

The Buffalo Bills beat the Las Vegas Raiders 33–30 on October 18 after answering a fourth-quarter tie with James Cook's go-ahead touchdown and Tyler Bass' fourth field goal. Buffalo then recovered an onside kick after Tre Tucker's 44-yard touchdown brought Las Vegas within three with 1:32 left.
Josh Allen completed 23 of 33 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns. Cook rushed 22 times for 95 yards and the deciding 3-yard score as Buffalo improved to 5–1; Las Vegas fell to 3–3.
Las Vegas stayed even through three quarters
The teams were tied 13–13 at halftime. Buffalo moved ahead on Allen's 12-yard touchdown pass to Keon Coleman, but Las Vegas kept the margin within reach and later drew level again.
Allen finished with two touchdown passes, while Coleman caught four passes for 59 yards. Dalton Kincaid led Buffalo with seven receptions, and Cook supplied 95 rushing yards on 22 carries.
The fourth quarter turned at 23–23
Cousins found Tucker for an 11-yard touchdown with 8:07 remaining, tying the score at 23. Buffalo immediately answered with a seven-play, 66-yard drive that ended on Cook's 3-yard touchdown run with 4:43 left.
After Las Vegas went three-and-out, Buffalo used Allen's 15-yard completion to Coleman and two Cook runs to drain time. Bass then made a 38-yard field goal with 1:56 left, his fourth successful kick of the game, for a 33–23 lead.
Tucker's final score was not enough
Cousins hit Tucker for a 44-yard touchdown with 1:32 remaining. Tucker finished with five catches for 97 yards and both Las Vegas touchdown receptions, while Cousins completed 23 of 41 passes for 313 yards, two scores and one interception.
The Raiders attempted an onside kick, but Khalil Shakir secured it for Buffalo. The Bills then ran out the clock, leaving the final margin at three points.
What the result established
Buffalo moved to 5–1 and Las Vegas to 3–3. The completed result also confirmed Allen's 255 passing yards, Cook's 95 rushing yards and Bass' four field goals across two independently published full recaps.
Those are completed-game facts, not a forecast. A 5–1 record strengthens Buffalo's early position, but this article does not project playoff qualification, division outcomes or repeat late-game success.
