Atos reported another step in its turnaround: the organic revenue decline for its Atos and Eviden units narrowed to 2.4% in the third quarter, while the company estimated a positive €44 million quarterly change in cash. It maintained its 2026 targets, but a 62% book-to-bill ratio and sharp regional differences show that the recovery is not complete.

The top line is still shrinking, but more slowly

Atos and Eviden generated €1.642 billion of reported revenue. On the company’s constant-scope and constant-currency basis, their combined organic decline was 2.4%, an improvement from 5.8% in the second quarter and 11.0% in the first. Reuters independently highlighted the same sequential improvement.

Cash and liquidity supplied the clearest milestone

Atos estimated a roughly €44 million positive net change in cash for the quarter, including about €50 million of restructuring cash costs. It called this the first positive cash generation since Genesis began. Estimated liquidity rose to €966 million from €948 million at June 30 and remained above a €650 million minimum in its credit documentation.

Regional performance remained uneven

UK and Ireland revenue rose 30.8% organically to €323 million, helped by weak comparisons and new wins. North America fell 19.3% to €246 million, Germany, Austria and Central Europe fell 6.1%, and France fell 2.7%. The group cautioned that the UK and Ireland growth rate was unusually high and not repeatable.

Orders still point to execution risk

Order entry was €1.024 billion and group book-to-bill was 62%, seven points below a year earlier. Full backlog was €8.4 billion and the year-to-date renewal rate improved to 93%, but book-to-bill below 100% means new orders did not replace all quarterly revenue on this measure.

Full-year targets were confirmed, not upgraded

Atos retained its 2026 goals: organic revenue growth around negative 5% for Atos and Eviden, operating margin around 7%, and a positive net change in cash. These are company targets, while quarterly cash and liquidity figures are estimates and should not be treated as audited full-year outcomes.
